St Ronan Well Reserve - Gt Southern Hwy
Trip Lead: Grumpy
Tracks may be Scratchy
Charles Cooke Hunt was a relatively unknown Western Australian explorer, Hunts Track opened up the interior to explorers, travellers and shepherds. Most importantly it linked a series of 26 wells, dams, tanks and soaks, securing a safe reliable route east of York to the Hamilton Plains. We found some of these wells and tracks in 2019 and are going to search for some more. We have a rough route planned. Some fees may apply. Camp fires should be permitted.
